I grew up in Napa and feel fortunate to be back after 12 years away. My husband, who is an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, and I have three children. Jack, Elizabeth and Michael are enjoying living near their grandparents, aunt, uncles and cousins for the first time in their lives. I love what I do and look forward to each day spent with my students.

I came to NVUSD from a private practice where I worked in both the school and the hospital settings.
I am new to River School this year and am thrilled to be here.
I believe that every child deserves to learn in an
environment where they are respected for who they are individually.
I believe it is essential to know
what goes on in their heads, what excites them, and makes them laugh.
What are their fears, their likes, and dislikes?
If we hope that students will become lifelong learners, we need to
make sure that they enjoy learning.
River School is the people within
its walls.
They are warm, loving, bright and concerned.
Anyone who has experienced River can attest
to this.
