CAASPP TESTING AND THE SECURE TEST BROWSERBefore your student begins testing at River School, the CA Secure Browser must be installed on their school device.
To help you , here are a few f things you can do to check and see if your students device is ready for the upcoming test peiod:
- Check to see if your students device has the CA Secure Browser installed on the device.
- Launch the browser to verify that the application is updated – Version 9
(If they had the browser installed last year, it should have updated and they should be ready good to go.)
- Download and Installation:
A. For Windows or Mac devices, please download the file and install the application.
B. For Chromebooks, you will find instructions on how to add the AirSecureTest App to Chrome.
Please Note: Before making any changes to your students Chromebook, in “Settings”make sure the device is set to “Sync”.
- If you experience any problems with the installation, have your student see his or her teacher.

River School is proud of the effort each of our students put forth into taking the CAASPP in May 2015. We are eager to review the data and create our goals for the upcoming year.
We are pleased to see that River School data shows our students at or above state expected averages for these new tests. We are especially proud of our motivated and inspiring educators at River School.
